The Stanford Recreation Campaign is a local fundraising committee whose mission is to sponsor continued community led improvements to Stanford Recreation Park in Stanfordville, NY. “The Rec” is where our community comes together to play, relax, exercise, and connect.
The rebuild of the legendary SPARC Park Playground in 2024 was the first step. The next phase of park improvements benefitting residents of all ages, from children to seniors has begun! Powered by community support, resident donations, and hundreds of volunteers …. No tax dollars spent!

The SPARC Park Playground was only the first step.
To improve our facilities for all residents, planned park improvements will be funded through private donations and grants, with no increase in local taxes and no tax dollars spent. Every gift makes a difference!

Powered by community support, resident donations and hundreds of volunteers, the Stanford Recreation Campaign stewarded the full rebuild of the SPARC Park Playground (2023-2024). Stanford residents have created one of the premier playgrounds in Dutchess County - a true example of what collective effort can achieve.
Now we’re ready to re-ignite the vision and take the next steps!
